Where to buy a good country ham in western NoVA?

I need to pick up a good Virginia country ham this week.. I know that they can be found in some grocery stores but I would like to find a place where I can select from several, where they might have more than one brand (Smithfield, Edwards, suggestions?), and where they don't keep them in the fridge case (duh). I will go as far south as Culpeper if I have to but I would rather source this some place west of Rt. 28, between Rt. 7 and I-66. Is that so much to ask?

Calhoun country hams are the best I've ever had. Available also at the weekly Farmer's Market in Old Town Alexandria. Obviously they only sell their own brand, but why mess with perfection?
