Last DC Meal

I searched the board but must be using the wrong words.

One of my friends is moving from DC after living here for a year and asked me to pick a super cool DC restaurant that she has to visit one last time before moving. I have tried thinking of places that are stereotypical DC but I feel none of them are just right. Any recommendations?

I'd suggest hanging out at the Lounge at Citronelle. Go for the mushroom cigars, the tuna napoleon, the vichysoisse, and the soft shell crabs. Dessert here, as well as the sauterne by the glass, is a bargain.

Komi. Where ever she moves to, she is not going to find another Komi. It will be a last DC meal she will not soon forget; and she'll want to come back for visits.

Totally agree with Crackers. At present it is Washington's best restaurant.
