moderately priced business dinner in Providence?

jsd May 27, 2008 04:45 AM

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for ideas for a moderately priced business related dinner in Providence tomorrow night. 6 or so people, we want to be able to hear each other, and I just don't want to have to worry about the food or service being flaky. Type of food itself is not that important, though since most guests are from outside New England I think it would be nice to feed them something local-ish. Also don't want to stress out my not-for-profit's budget unduly.

Any ideas? Most people attending the dinner are staying at the Westin downtown, so there or Federal Hill would be fine. Thanks for any thoughts.

I'd suggest 3 Steeple St. Good solid food. Check out their website for menus/prices.

What about Chez Pascal? They have their bistro menu on Tues, Weds, Thurs. I believe it's $28 pp for 3 courses

Chez Pascal is over on the East Side - fine place, lovely, but wrong location. Thanks for the suggestion. Anyone else have any ideas? Federal Hill?

My suggestions would be Pane e Vino on the hill. Local 121 in town and also 3 Steeple.
