Picnic in Central Park

Hi there

Can anyone let me know if there is any way we can get a ready made picnic to eat in Central Park? I am bringing a friend to Manhattan for the first time and she is keen to eat in the Park. Are there any places you can order picnic food and collect it? Thanks, Amanda

    Just about any gourmet market should have what you want. Grace's Market Place, Dean & DeLuca etc. as well as others mentioned here.

      Fairway market on West Side, or Zabar's. I am pretty sure they have
      picnics to go' all made up. If not, just get a bunch of packaged goods and make your own. Very easy to do.
