I want to state that I love Daiters.
The only good cottage cheese available in Toronto.
Their Herring is the best as well.
Last week as I picked up the creamy 2 1/2 % cottage cheese, and the schmaltz herring fillets, I noticed a new product by a company called Sanskriti.
It is all vegetarian (Kosher) no preservatives and no MSG indian food in microwavable packs.
The packs do not require refrigeration.
I almost never buy ready foods, but was tempted to try the Dal for $2.99.
I expected it to be awful, and another throwaway.
To my surprise,
It was excellent, and a fairly generous portion. I highly recommend it.
I am going back to try the rest of their products, as they had a nice selection.
