For Maui, it's worth a visit. We had an excellent meal and the atmosphere and service was very nice. In the grand scheme of restaurants everywhere, no, imo.

re: manomin
We plan on getting by in late Oct./early Nov., even if we miss some others. Hope to do DP's and Lahaina Grill both on this trip.
We'll also be moving across the Island, and doing Mama's for dinner, and not just for lunch. We also hope to get back to Bev Gannon's, as we missed her on the last trip.
Repots to follow,
Hunt

The Lahaina grill is not particularly expensive for Maui. For us it's a MUST visit when we go and we will be returning in just a few months. They have received a lot of awards. The food and service are excellent.
The Maui onion encrusted Ahi is one of the best tuna dishes I have ever had. -
Lahaina Grill is simply delicious! The Chef's Seafood Tasting dinner paired with their wines is a must have! You will not be disappointed if you love fresh seafood prepared eloquently both visually and delectably. The appetizer sampling excites your taste buds for more while the main course sampling satisfies them. But it's not over yet... The dessert sampler is sinfully delightful especially the triple berry pie! Trust me, it's ALL THAT and THEN SOME!
