Was that place Kwong Shing around 8th Av? Since then I've tried Wing Lee BBQ & Donut and Ching Heung (around 4th), but I like the Ching Heung on Noriega/30th Av the most. If you find something good on Clement, let us know!

Napolean Bakery replaced Kwong Shing last Oct or so. Loved their Soy Sauce Chicken and Chow Fun as some of the best. My wife went to High school owners kids so she always get the freshest and our sons always got a free drumstick to chew while we shopped.

I miss the old places but we all have to retire sometimes.

I second Ching Heung on 30th across from Safeway. If it get busy you always park in there lot.

Happy Bakery on Ocean Ave. sells wonderful roast ducks and fabulous soy sauce chicken -- I like the ducks very much, but I like the chickens (with lots of Happy Bakery's tasty ginger/green onion "relish") even better. The ducks are nicely flavored, too, and beautifully roasted, with very little fat under the skin.

I second Happy Bakery...they don't have what can be an overwhelming usage of 5 spice, so the flavor of the duck itself shines through!
