Where to buy dried guajillo in Pittsburgh?

Title says all. I was curious to try a salsa recipe that called for guajillo chile peppers (if you're curious: I've tried looking without success at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Market. Does anyone know where I might be able to find some? A store in the Strip, perhaps? Many thanks!

  1. Penzey's
    1729 Penn Ave
    (412) 434-0570

    1. Rania's Mexican Food up the street (corner 22nd & Penn) may have a better price than Penzeys. Just bought a bag at McGinnis on 88 in Castle Shannon for well under $5.

sorry... it's Reyna's Foods. Rania's (catering) is in Mt. Leb. Seems I always make that mistake.

      2. That recipe looks great, now I'm going to have to try it! Like Panini Guy said, Rania's is probably your place. In the back of the store they have a large selection of peppers and spices in metal garbage cans and it's all sold in bulk. If you're hungry their burritos for $2 make a nice little snack.

        1. That recipe looks amazing. I am definitely going to make it. Thanks.

          1. Just made this salsa and it was very good. Bought the peppers at Renya's in the Strip. They were $12 a pound but 12 peppers were only about $3.
