PHX - intimate celebratory dinner

shishkalady May 24, 2008 03:23 PM

In a few weeks (on a Friday), a small group of us (4-6 total) are getting together to celebrate my sister's upcoming wedding. I, an out of towner, am in charge of the dinner and would like to pick up the tab for everyone so I'd like to keep the tab around $50/pp pre gratuity. There is one vegetarian in the group and another (me) who is hard of hearing and tries to avoid overly loud restaurants. My sister's favorite restaurants are Tarbell's and Richardson's for dinner and LGO for lunch/brunch. With those parameters in mind, I would appreciate suggestions for a lovely dinner.

    How about Coronado Cafe?

I have the place...Coup des Tartes at 16th and Highland. It's BYOB, so you can drink great wine without breaking the bank. (Print the coupon for free corkage --usually it's $8). $50 a head is totally doable.

I would recommend sharing a few salads and apps if that's your thing, and then everyone get their own entree. Don't miss dessert!

The food is great and lots of it. This is our standby place for 4-6 ladies who like to taste and share.

      Love it!

How about Quiescence? Great for a vegetarian and very quiet (I don't even think they have music).

These options all sound wonderful. Thanks for the $0.02.
