hello fellow CHers

this is really late in the day but I was hoping to get some recommendations for some hole in the wall recommendations in Des Moines for tonight. Prefer Mexican, African, caribbean, central american or mongolian or good seafood.

Hole in the wall... Well, you might want to try El Aguila Real in the Beaverdale (and other locales) or Flying Mango on Hickman for a good mixture of Caribbean, barbecue, cajun, etc. Downtown, I think El Bait Shop is a fun place for a meal. The El Salvadoran place on 2nd (I just can't remember the name of it. help) is also good but can be a little uneven.
