If you could only eat dinner at one Italian in Little Italy in San Diego where would it be?
I really enjoy Cafe Zucchero..www.cafezucchero.com
I was going to say the Waterfront Bar and Grill but you did specify Italian but dang, the Texas cheeseburger is one of the best and you just can't beat a great dive bar!
Filippi's Pizza Grotto has a great atmosphere, old school feel, andyes decent (not great) food. But an excellent casual date in Little Italyplace. Then onto The Waterfront for drinks!
i second that one
Puerto La Boca would be my choice.
La Boca is Argentinian...
It is Argentinian, but like many Argentinian restaurants it has an Italian-influenced menu. Really great calamari and pastas- it is usually my first choice in Little Italy as well with Buon Appetito running a close second.
