Little Italy San Diego

If you could only eat dinner at one Italian in Little Italy in San Diego where would it be?

        It is Argentinian, but like many Argentinian restaurants it has an Italian-influenced menu. Really great calamari and pastas- it is usually my first choice in Little Italy as well with Buon Appetito running a close second.

        I was going to say the Waterfront Bar and Grill but you did specify Italian but dang, the Texas cheeseburger is one of the best and you just can't beat a great dive bar!

          Filippi's Pizza Grotto has a great atmosphere, old school feel, and
          yes decent (not great) food. But an excellent casual date in Little Italy
          place.
          Then onto The Waterfront for drinks!
