Wine auction prices

Am trying to research the wine auction prices of some wines that I am trying to buy. Can fellow CH'ers recommend a couple of good sources (e.g. interent sites, .....)? The ones that I am looking to buy are mostly Burgundy, champagne and CA cabs. Thanks.

Wine Spectator also has a wine auction database that tracks the auction prices from
Aulden Cellars-Sotheby's, Butterfields, Hart Davis Hart, Acker, Merrall & Condit, Morrell & Company New York, NYWinesChristie's, and Zachys Wine Auctions

I believe it is a free service and can be found at www.winespectator.com under the tab "Collecting".

It will tell you the average price, the high and low prices for the quarter, and the percentage change as well as the number of bottles sold for a large number of wines.
