Cheap lunch near flatiron/union square?

Looking for good food but fairly cheap lunch spots near the Union Square/Flatiron district. Any ideas?

    Eisenberg's on 5th Ave at 22nd.
    A classic coffee shop...since 1929!

        i wouldn't call republic 'cheap'

        the lines at shake shack and artichoke might turn your lunch into supper

          Zen Palate is back on 18th between Park and Irving. Last time I went I ordered a seaweed salad and it was huge.
