What's the deal with Red Fish in Canton?

I've called over there a few times to make a reservation and no one ever answers. I thought new management was in force? Are they on a permanent vacation or what?

oh....and they are renaming the place....Meridian 54, i think.

its back open again. i went in for dinner the saturday after thanksgiving. the food was great! approaching the quality of the days when this place first open. and chris the new owner is great!

Red Fish is closed. The second owner jimmy has shut it down. It's too bad he is a nice fellow. Too much bad karma from previous owner.

Wow. That's too bad. My husband and I go there every year on our 'anniversary'- it is where we met on the day of the Belmont Stakes... guess we'll have to toast with our own champagne on the sidewalk out front. Bummer.

The food there was fantastic when Ted Stelzenmuller was chef, but he left almost 2 years ago to open his current place. Nobody has been able to get it together at that location since.
