French visitors in NY

Please help. I have a few French relatives visiting from Paristhis summer and would like to show them a culinary tour of the city. Am thinking of cusines they may not have experienced much?

Good Mexican is rare in Paris. How about Rosa Mexicano or some place like that? Peruvian is another that comes to mind. "American" places like Union Square Cafe or Little Owl are hard to come by in Paris. A hamburger & cupcake tour might be fun too.

Peruvian sounds interesting. Any place in mind? Was told about Sofrito, a Cuban restaurant. Will have to give it a try.

Thanks. I was thinking, from the last time visiting Paris 2 years ago, there aren't too many Latin/Caribbean/Filipino/Indian places. Nothing too expensive; they are students....
