New pub on Notre Dame

Does anyone know anything about the new place opening on Notre Dame across from Liverpool House, next to the Corona, where Del Canale used to be? I drove by it this AM, but can't remember the name, off the top of my head.

My friends and I went to the Burgundy Lion yesterday. It was fantastic. The bangers and mash are so tasty. The desserts are made on the premises. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The owner came to our table several times making us feel special. love love loved it. Plan to make it there often.

Drove by it again this morning. The sign reads: "PUB BURGUNDY LION". According to sources amongst the Joe Beef gang, it's owned by 3 or 4 talented local boys, and it's going to be the first British "Gastropub" in Montreal. Exciting!

I walked by this morning and it looks like it's very close opening. They also appear to have a terasse out in the back. This is great news as that area really needs a good bar. Also, I hope they have a big screen TV for the Euro Cup!
