Drinks/Apps/Dessert after a friday night movie with the girls!!
Hi all!
Its my 23rd birthday next week, and a bunch of girls and I are going to go see Sex And The City :) I am trying to come up with a fun place to go out after for drinks, appetizers and dessert after the movie. I want a fun, nice bar with yummy food. (I'm very partial to chocolate lava cake, by the way) Does anyone have any suggestions? I live in westwood, so we could do santa monica, hollywood, bev hills, etc. The only idea I have right now is Chaya venice.....help!!

Ritual in Hollywood could be fun for you and has lava cake
If you're interested in Japanese, Matsuhisa has lava cake as well.
Don't love Geisha House in general, but it's good for a 23rd birthday and has your cake.
One other place that I can think of off hand is Morton's, but that may very well be way too low key for that event. The cake is good though.

Cobras & Matadors on Bev (or 3rd?) and then go to see it at The Grove (I'm doing this 2 -- doing C&M in Los Feliz, then Archlight). Have fun!

I just went to a birthday party a couple of weeks ago at Katana and they had a sick chocolate lava cake. It's not that far from the Grove (valet parking is $9 though) and it's a pretty fun bar scene.
