Must-Orders at Osteria Mozza?

I know there have been a zillion posts on Osteria Mozza, but I didn't see one that seemed to cover this exact topic. I just scored a res next month (long-time drooler, first-time eater), and I'd like to know which dishes are stand-outs!

    1. i just went last week and ordered the pasta tasting menu. It was very good. at bit pricey but IMHO it was worth it. you could check out pictures here:

      1. Anything from the mozzarella bar. From the pastas, my favorite is the orecchiette with sausage and chard, though the gnocchi with boar ragout is not far behind. Among the secondi, I am very fond of the guinea hen, the quail, the beef brasato and the lamb shank.

          The burrata with bacon, marinated escarole & caramelized shallots is a must, if you're into burrata. Also, agree on the orecchiette w/sausage.

            it appears that we have a similar palate. i also recommend the orechiette, the gnocchi and the guinea fowl/hen. the roasted pork loin with the fat cap is quite good as well.

          2. I stick with the mozzarella bar: grilled octopus, tripe, and burrata with artichoke are my favorites. The butter lettuce salad is also very good.

            My favorite dessert is the olive oil cakes with gelato.

            1. i like the grilled beef tagliata and the orechiette.

              bombolini is great for dessert too
