Recs near Orpheum Theater?
Hello,
We're going to a concert at the Orpheum Theater (842 S. Broadway) in downtown LA and are looking for recs for dinner beforehand. It would be nice if we could park somewhere close to the theater, then walk to wherever we're eating, then walk back to the theater, as to avoid parking hassles. We like most kinds of food, except Indian and very hot. Price range is also not critical, what's important is the food! Not familiar with the area, so need some help here - thanks, 'hounds!

Tiara Cafe.. http://www.chowhound.com/topics/478349 . Search "Orpheum" and you'll find at least 4 other threads...Woodspoon gets high recs tho' don't know if they serve alcohol, if that's a consideration.
also try www.laorpheum.com and select local info in menu- they have a list w/ maps of nearby restaurants. enjoy!

There is a New Italian spot next to the Golden Gopher, forgot the name.. Its very good per a friend of mine..
