Ditto what rrems said. No aspersions on Compass, where the food is very good. But there's no question that EMP's French-inspired cuisine is on a far, far superior level. This superiority also extends to other areas. The wine list is first-rate, and service is both cordial and polished. Last, but not least, the space is gorgeous!

I've heard complaints about service at Compass, but we've never had any problems. Despite that, it has never come close to the polished level at EMP.

Much as I like Compass, if price is not a consideration, by all means go to EMP. No comparison.
