Wedding Rehearsal Dinner along the Main Line??

emf170 May 20, 2008 02:49 PM

I am desperately looking for a place to host my wedding rehearsal dinner at in August. We don't need anything really fancy or upscale, just a nice place where we can relax, socialize, drink and eat some great food. Some place affordable. Since it will be summer, we would prefer the option of outdoor seating. Our guest list will be about 50 people. We are interested in somewhere along the Main Line - basically anywhere between West Chester and Villanova. Please help! Thanks so much!

You might try Pond in Radnor or Nectar in Berwyn. Both have outdoor seating

Pond is a good thought but my cousin is having hers there the month before ours! I will check out Nectar though....thanks!

Thats your place. It's more affordable than Nectar or Pond, a lovely outdoor setting, and close to the Blue Route.

You could also check out Tacquet at the Wayne Hotel for a semi-outdoor experience... they have a beautiful covered front porch, but I'm not sure how many they can accomodate there.

Not sure of their ability to handle a private party like yours, but I have always been happy with 333 Belrose. Definitely worth a shot, especially if you can get their Java Pork Tenderloin!

The other thing @ 333 is to make sure it's not scheduled for a time that overlaps with happy hour.

George's (at Spread Eagle) has an outdoor seating area in warm weather, doesn't it? Not sure about the size of it, though
