looking for some good creme brulee

My friend and I have had some serious cravings for a mean creme brulee. We live in the District and prefer to keep things metro accessable. Any suggestions?

Really enjoyed a banana creme brulee at Black Squirrel in Adams Morgan the other night. I think the desserts change daily, but fyi anyway.

At the grille at the Homestead they have a lavender creme brulee that is fantastic, of course on our trip nothing else was, so I will have to find somewhere else with it or learn to make it :)

Ruth's Chris in Bethesda. Very close to Metro. Consistently great creme brulee. It is a large portion with a hard sugar crunch and lots of berries. I hate brulee that has a thin sugar layer. I like a bite of fruit with each bite and can't stand when restaurants charge $7 or $8 for brulee and only give you 3 raspberries! This comes with blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. Very good eats!

Is that the Earl Grey Creme Brulee? I remember trying that somewhere but couldn't remember the restaurant and thought it might be Corduroy.

My favorite creme brulee was at Restaurant Eve in Old Town. It is a bit of a walk from the metro but would be enjoyable on a nice day. I think they serve dessert at the bar so you could always go there for some of Todd's excellent cocktails and dessert.
