The Centennial Cafe is a new breakfast / lunch / early dinner restaurant in the Ohio House from the Centennial Exposition. (www.thecentennialcafe.com) It is right next to the Mann; you pass the entrance to the cafe on the driveway to the Mann parking area. I was at the Mann last week and I think that there was a promotion along the lines of buy dinner at Centennial and get free parking. Anyhow, I've been to Centennial Cafe a few times. I've liked the food for the most part...stand-outs were fresh baked cookies and gourmet sandwiches. Their specialty is a brisket sandwich, which I thought was good but not spectacular (although they do smoke the brisket on site, and it smells great!). It is a relatively new restaurant, and I think they are still working out staffing and service quirks. But I would recommend it as a very convenient place to get a quality sandwich before the Mann. Hymie's and Murray's are also nearby delis on Montgomery Avenue, and there is now a Five Guys burger place in the Acme shopping plaza on City Line Avenue.

re: Displaced California Foodie
Yes, food court says it all, like at any mall in the country. You can bring your own wine, and, for that matter, your own food. It's very pleasant to sit up there before the concert, but not for the food. And there is fairly limited seating, but no one prevents you from taking a blanket (or lawnchairs) and doing your own picknick. Foodwise, that is far and away the best.

The Mann isn't really near much at all. There's some bbq down on Lancaster a few blocks away where Lanc meets Belmont Ave, but aside from that...you're essentially starting to look around West Philly.
Now W Philly has a LOT of great eating options, from LaBan's 3-belled Marigold Kitchen to Laotian Vientienne to Ethiopian to middle eastern. And the new Vietnam Cafe gets great reviews as well.
On the other hand, if you're going to drive into W Philly, you can always head towards center city with all of those options. Particularly the Art Museum area....
