Roadtrip from DC to Charleston: Any notable stops?

Going on a roadtrip from DC to Charleston over Memorial Day weekend, traveling along I-95. Could anyone advise if there are good places to stop along the way for meals/snacks?

      and a little sw of charleston are some great boiled peanuts:

      1. Parker's Barbecue, and Bills Barbecue in Wilson NC. If you can get further off 95 Wilbers Barbecue in Goldsboro is awesome.

          1. There is an all you can eat buffet called Ryan's Steakhouse that have a few places right off 95, which can do in a pinch. Decent entrees, good sides and desserts. Also, check out
