Cool! Also think about Zankou on Sepulveda in Van Nuys, right near Burbank.

Have you ever tried HealthyCa ("health-i-ca") on Lankershim? It's not so much a cool place to sit and eat (tho they do have tables and a sunny window) but the food is out of this world and affordable and super fresh and healthy and extra yummy.

        Best. Salads. EVER.

I like the sandwiches at Healthy CA but I love their fresh juice drink called 'The Fighter' which is pineapple, grape, orange, ginger and cayenne. So good that I dragged the old Champion Juicer out and now duplicate it at home!

How about Katsu-ya in Encino on Ventura?
