Some of you fellow Slow Food devotees might know this...I am trying to find a heritage turkey, one of the Narragansett, Bourbon Red, Jersey Buff or the Standard Bronze breed for Thanksgiving this year. I may be too late, but thought I would ask if anyone knows of a local breeder. The few east coast places I found are not only geographically challenging, but sold out.

Thanks!

I think the "official" heritage turkeys through Slow Food sold out several months ago. You might check the NY conviva websites to see if they name the breeders. They may have extras.
