Has anyone ever been there?

Small place.

I've been there a couple of times. Loved it first time. Second time was a Saturday night and it's a bit too harried then for my taste and service suffered (what else is new ?) and impacted my positive reaction just a bit as the food also wasn't quite as special as the first time. As you noted, it's a small place. Nice people, overall very good Italian food. A find for NewRo. They have quite a following. BTW, restaurant.com is having a $25 restaurant coupon special for $2 with the promotional code on their homepage -- use either "steak" or "bloom" -- it ends today. I got a coupon for Da Giorgio, so I guess I'll be going back!

              Any landmarks intrepid?

Got it -- Quaker Ridge Road. I wonder what it replaced?

Looks like Cosi was at the same location. Is Cosi gone? No loss.

they took over the former La Trattoria on Quaker Ridge...the chef previously worked in Westchester and the Bronx.
