Good local joints in/near West Covina

My husband and I will be in the West Covina/Covina area for two weeks in late June visiting my elderly mother and staying in the Radisson WC (Formerly the Embassy Suites). The latter has fridges and microwave ovens that allow reheating. Can local chowhounds help with decent takeaways and/or hole-in-the-wall restaurants that could make our evenings less BJs, Islands and El Torritos, and more ethnic/interesting?
I'm familiar with Krau Thai, Hayakawa, Dino's Burgers (for the chicken), Petrillo's for pizza (right?) and the family-run Mexican on Citrus in Old Town Covina. Anything else nearby - say, within a ten-mile radius? We love ALL cuisines! Thanks for any help.

Juanita's Mexican Food on Indian Hill in Claremont, just south of I-10 on the west side of Indian Hill near the Carl's Jr. and the In' n' Out.

It's a taco stand (seats are only two outdoor tables) but also a local and somewhat national legend due to Claremont College students/ alums, who crave Juanita's no matter where they currently reside.

UMMMM, UMMMM GOOD. It's la mas fina.

The hours are very limited.

I would suggest the shredded beef tacos and the bean and cheese burritos. The hot sauce is spectacular.
