Serrano ham in Atlanta/Marietta

bananna slug May 18, 2008 09:26 AM

Where can I find good quality serrano ham in Atlanta or Marietta? It doesn't have to be Iberico (which I believe is sold at Star Provisions and is mind blowingly expensive). I appreciate any leads anyone can give me.

    Harry's in Alpharetta carries serrano.

The Dekalb Farmers Market has seranno and I would call Muss & Turner's in Smyrna -- I don't know if they have it but I would suspect they do. They have great cured and smoked meats in general.

Talk to Franco, the Italian importer, at East Atlanta Village Farmer's Market, Thursdays 4-dusk.
