Bryan Flannery steaks

Are they worth ordering?

  1. I'd never heard of Bryan Flannery until you asked, so I Googled him and his beef and came up with this on Chef;s Catalog:

If this is representative of their butchering skills, I wouldn't order from them under any circumstance. They've cut away half of the tenderloin!

Further Googling found descriptions that said it is corn fed beef. When I shop for premium beef I look for free range grass fed beef, dry aged USDA Prime, if available, and never less that USDA Choice. For what it's worth. '-)

    1. The price seems ridiculous to me. Allen Brothers is expensive, but significantly lower than that.

      1. late reply, but one of the best steaks on the market. Don't purchase it from chefscatalog it's a rip off.

Call his store direct and have them ship to you.

        1. YES! The best there is. Super expensive, but get the 40 day rib cap roll. AWESOME!

          1. Pricey, yes, but all his steaks are some of the best I've ever had. The rib cap is no exception, and they are delicious! Need to place an order here shortly for our annual winemakers dinner at our home! Worth the price of admission. -mJ
