Hi Folks, new to CHOWHOUND and see this has been a topic before but not as of late. Was wondering what are your favorite BYOB places in the NYC. I am looking for all quality here not dumpy takeout restaurants. Two of my personal favorites are:

Lucali

(between Carroll St & Summit St)
Brooklyn, NY 11231
(718) 858-4086

CORKAGE = $4 A BOTTLE

egg
135 N. 5th St
Brooklyn, NY 11211
nr. Bedford Ave.
718-302-5151

CORKAGE = FREE

Look forward to all your recommendations…

      Nusara in Queens. Really good Thai food and, of course, is BYO.

        Haven't been, but a friend who's an Italian wine connoisseur and prefers to bring his own tells me that Nook, on 9th between 50th and 51st is really, really good.

          Tartine in the West Village has no corkage fee and delicious food with a real French bistro feel.
