Message

I am looking for a reliable and easy to clean hand blender. After reading
some consumer reviews, the cuisinart model CSB77 seemed to be
recommended.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

My wife bought me a Viking VHB300SG hand blender for X-mas and we've found it to be very versatile. I believe it was around $120.00 and it came with a free chopper attachment. The on button is a little clumsy at first, but becomes easier to work with the more you get the hang of it.

I own the model you are considering, but prefer the following after using at family members' houses:

There are multiple speeds, it purees to a much finer consistency, and I prefer the narrow wand.
