I wanted to have a girly day out with a group of OOT guests. I was thinking about afternoon tea at the Windsor Court. I wondered what other options there were in the CBD/FQ area for a late lunch with nice atmosphere with a group of about 10.

I would suggest MiLa. They no longer do the sandwich type lunch, it's more formal. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. Since I work in the area and only get an hour for lunch, unfortunately I can't go as often as I'd like.

The Ritz would have a tea similar to Windsor Court, either are nice.

I've never been, but if I were planning something like that, I'd check out Cafe Amelie, just for the patio. I hear the food is fine.

Did not have the time to do the Ritz's Tea, but did look in upon it. Reminded me of the Park Lane's (London/Mayfair) and that is a good thing! Wish that we'd gotten to do it, as my wife is a big High Tea fan and we usually do one, or two, on each London trip. She also commented on the "looks," of the one at the Ritz. Sorry, no first-hand experience.
