Fresh World Market - Reston

Is now open in the Tall Oaks center. At 11:30 on a Friday the parking lot was completely full, and lines inside were stretching into the aisle. Lots of options. The prices were typical of these types of markets (low), but not as low as some of the other big international markets.

  1. How did the produce look?

I was going to stop on my way home from work today, but from your description perhaps I should give it a week or two to settle down.

I would wait - or go late. The produce looked abundant and with a wide choice. Lots of herbs that I noticed. I mainly took a short stroll around most of the store and didn't delve too deeply anywhere. The location of the seafood area is going to be problematic - it was hard to get through today.

    2. We went to Fresh World today and were very impressed with the selection of produce, meat and seafood, especially when compared to the selection at Giant which used occupy that space. It is lacking a floral department, and a pharmacy, but overall it's a big improvement from Giant, and it's a nice addition to the already abundent shopping options in Reston.
