I've tried the little neon-lit taco truck by the railroad (ehh) and Papas y Tacos at Laural Canyon (also just so so I thought), but there are a bunch of other on or near by this stretch of road. Anyone have insight that can save me from hunting and pecking around on my own? Is there any really standout food elsewhere in Pacoima? There is a mexican fish place near the 7/11 on the west side of the park but haven't tried it yet. Owner started with a taco truck many years ago; now has two bricks and mortar stores (other location on Maclay next to the Sylmar border). They have the typical choices which you could expect from a truck. I recommend the tacos al pastor or carne asada burrito without beans.
