Takeout in Trinity-Bellwoods Area

Hi Chow Hounds,

It's a great day for eating in the park.

I'm looking for takeout ideas in the Trinity-Bellwoods Park area. My friends love Chippy's and while I enjoy fish and chips, I'm trying to avoid fried things today (and think it's pretty overrated). So aside from Chippy's, if you were going to get food to eat in the park, where would you go?

Thanks,
Andrea

I hate to be a one-trick pony but I love getting One of a Kind's yummy spaghetti bolognese for take-out. Stays hot, comes with a fork, seals tight if you don't finish it. Just east of the park on the north side of Queen.

for the park, i usually get a sandwich and a coffee from clafouti across the street. i like the curry chicken samdwich best.

Oh yes, I've always wanted to try Claouti. I just hope they're still open when I go there after work.

        Thanks for all the suggestions!

Sweet Lulu is just down the street...and portable!

          chippys is definitely overrated.

terroni take-out would definitely be on the list. as would a burger from fresh.
