Taylor's has a classic look, and it is lit poorly. It also serves a poor steak, not up to snuff in these days of supermarket prime.

Service at La Cabanita can fall down when there's a crowd, but otherwise I recommend their fine fare -- especially the soups and the chiles en nogada. You might also make a quick dash for dessert at Mignon Chocolate, which is a lot further down Verdugo but much closer than their shop in Tehran.

KQ,

I haven't tried either one but a quick search of past posts seemed to give both places a thumbs up. I'm going to have to give Divina Cucina a try, I have plenty of good Mexican places nearby but I'm always on the lookout for a good Italian restaurant.
