Cerrato's Bradley Beach

First of all, I despise Mother's Day dinner's. Talk about amatuer night out at a restaurant! So I walked into Cerrato's already skeptical and expecting food to be less than the normal quality i have come to expect. The chowhound boards haven't been too kind to this place and I am a big fan of the osso bucco there so I decided to stray from the menu and give some of the pasta dishes a shot.

I have to tell you, this place really is a great restaurant!

The antipasto is amazing, the service is excellent, and the owner (I think his name is Lou) is a genuine nice guy and they know how to cook a plate of pasta.

Great work over there on a night of the year where restaurants generally flop.

Went there once and it was just average just like the prior reastaurant Mazi. I'm thinking that Mazi may have reinvented themselves and came back to life as Cerrato's. Whatever, I asked my wife to go back again based on your review but she said bafongool ...
