going to Jazzstandard tonite- downstairs of BLUE SMoke

the last time i was there i was lesst then impressed with the mac and cheese....
but i hear the burger is good

recomendations appreciated

Tried the chipotle wings last time I was there... they are absolutely crazy delicious.

If you choose to order one dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding is the best.

I thought their bbq is fine. Just avoid their beef ribs at all cost. They are always dry and tough. Other ribs are quite good!

I think other hounds already gave you all the good suggestions. If they have a soft shell crab sandwich (seasonal special) definitely order it! It was very good!

And they have good desserts! You can try to order the dessert sampler if you have enough people, and also the hot fudge brownie sundae. Ok, just the sound of it is tempting enough. How can you screw up a hot fudge sundae? :D

Pulled pork is good. I like the hush puppies too. I haven't had the burger, but if it's a bigger version of the Shake Shack burger, I don't think you can go wrong.

I too am unimpressed by the bbq and mac & cheese. However, their burgers and sandwiches, particularly the cuban and unsingers bologna are great.

One of the best burgers in the city. Essentially a much bigger version of the Shake Shack burger. The chipotle wings and the beef ribs are my other favorites there.

The burger is good but HUGE. The patty is giant. Very nicely cooked, though.
