Panang Curry tuna @ TJ's SEA

I'm not finding my favorite instant food, Red Panang Curry Tuna at my Seattle Trader Joe's. Anyone seeing them in the outlying areas at all? I've been to the U District and QA ones. Hopefully they didn't disco this stuff, it's muy bueno. I have noticed terrible shortages at TJ lately....

Oh no! I love this stuff too! I haven't tried to buy it in a while, so no advice. Sorry!

I went out to the Redmond TJs and they didn't have it there either, no sign it ever existed--looks like it may have been discontinued. Wah.

I too have noticed many of my Trader Joe's favorites missing lately. When I inquired about them, I was told they were no longer carrying products made in China. The store manager said they are trying to bring back as much as possible through alternate vendors.

I live in San Diego and it's been gong for awhile, too. I have one box that I am hoarding until I can find more. Ladybugmom, your store manager is wrong...TJ's Tuna in Red Panang Curry is a product of Thailand, not China. At my store, they told me it's no longer on the order list so that just means that it's not available...but they couldn't tell me if it ever would be available again. Trader Joe's buys in huge bulk, so maybe they couldn't get a deal on it. I, for one, am going to write them about it. I also found that the other green curry tuna was pretty darn tasty, too. MMMM.
