Where can you get Country Smoked Bacon or Ham ...

At a farm, country store, etc. Actually where they smoke it right there? Anywhere within 50 miles from Stamford CT? Also Jerky, I love the real stuff. I love maple, sugared or any special wooded smoked bacon and canadian ham, thanks.

Country ham and bacon have to be produced in a rural area (USDA rules) so not sure if you can get any that is made in this immediate area.

Nodine's Smokehouse(they have a website) in Goshen,Ct. has fine smoked bacons and hams but I think this is more than 50 miles from Stamford.
Henry's Market in Bennington,Vermont is also good if you are up that way.

Union Square Greenmarket is within 50 miles ... Tamarack Hollow Farms (from Vermont) has spectacular country smoked hams and bacon, and is at the market about once a week. You probably want to call them to find out when exactly they'll be there.
