Fun 2 Days in Boston

Traveling to Boston Friday May 23, taking someone to Airport, then a friend and I are looking for some fun, food, and drink Friday afternoon, evening, and Saturday during the day. We are staying in the Quincy Market area, but location doesn't matter as long as we can use public transportation. We would love to do some bar hopping Friday, perhaps have a decent meal (doesn't need to be fancy) Friday night. Saturday, any markets or other fun things in the morning until early afternoon would be great. We don't mind walking Friday or Saturday. Here is some info to help with ideas: we love good pubs, don't need to be fancy and good beer, not really into bud and coors, foodwise we are up for most anything, but we will be dressed pretty casually. Thought about Antico Forno for dinner. We like pizza, italian, steaks, burgers, seafood, and did I mention good beer. Would somebody please map us out an itinerary for Friday night and then perhaps Saturday late morning and afternoon. Thanks a bunch!

I would love to map you out an itinerary, as I am your personal concierge. Not.

In terms of market hopping, the North End provides a number of interesting shops to poke around it.

If you haven't been to Jacob Wirth's for fun on Friday night, then this is the ticket. Mel Stiller plays piano from 8-12 and no cover charge. He passes out songbooks and people shout out what page and song he/she wants him to play. It is so much fun and, after a couple of pitchers of beer, everyone thinks they can sing. All different ages but majority are in their 20's, 30's. Also, you can order food. Great appetizers.
