London: Nipa review

  • 1

We went to Nipa for dinner. Mixed experience. Two dishes were quite good (a really nice dish of chicken, its name will escape me, but it was one of the few non-spicy chicken dishes; and a red curry), the rest of the dishes were eminently forgettable (pad thai, tom yam, spicy glass noodle salad). Room was nice, with great views. But the food was just OK. Service was quite chaotic (they never brought the green curry I had ordered, which we then had to ask to be removed from our tab). We've had better tasting food at Chiang Mai Kitchen in Oxford. Cost: approx. 25-30 per person, including one beer (no dessert).
