Central: Where to sit?

I'll be going to Central in the next few days for lunch. When I make the reservation, where should I ask to be seated? (It's a group of 3 of us.) Thanks in advance.

  1. Ask to be seated at a table with a view of the beautiful open kitchen.

Absolutely; if you can get one of the tables on the long bench thing (that will make more sense when you get there) it's better than the free-standing tables by the kitchen. One person will have to sit with their back to the kitchen, but there's a mirror on the facing wall so you can both still see.

    2. The back of the restaurant is much better than the front...also the open kitchen is in the back. May I suggest the short ribs????

      1. Thanks for the recommendation -- I made the reservation today for a seat in the back with a view of the kitchen. They said they couldn't guarantee seating location, but that they'd try.
