Central: Where to sit?

I'll be going to Central in the next few days for lunch. When I make the reservation, where should I ask to be seated? (It's a group of 3 of us.) Thanks in advance.

Ask to be seated at a table with a view of the beautiful open kitchen.

Absolutely; if you can get one of the tables on the long bench thing (that will make more sense when you get there) it's better than the free-standing tables by the kitchen. One person will have to sit with their back to the kitchen, but there's a mirror on the facing wall so you can both still see.

The back of the restaurant is much better than the front...also the open kitchen is in the back. May I suggest the short ribs????

Thanks for the recommendation -- I made the reservation today for a seat in the back with a view of the kitchen. They said they couldn't guarantee seating location, but that they'd try.
