518493 Mon May 12 16:52:28 -0700 2008 3 31 Home Cooking 0 3680772 I happened to stumble across some granola bark in the bakery department of my supermarket. It was really delicious; but expensive. Today I looked for it; but they didn't have any. I would love to be able to make this at home. I did a search on this board; but couldn't find anything like it and then searched the web; but only came across a couple of recipes, neither of which sounded quite like what I've bought. Their bark was about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in height, doesn't have much of a honey flavor to it; although I'm sure there is honey in it. It had sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, almonds, oats, pecans and small chocolate chips used sparingly. It did have some chemicals in it. There was no coconut in it. It was sort of crunchy; but not so much that it fell apart when bitten into; but was not gooey/sticky like a granola bar. The stuff was sort of stuck together with something like a brittle consistency; but not that hard; nor was there too much of what held it together.
