Landmarc for family with kids/babies

Muffin May 12, 2008 12:51 PM

Just wanted to thank the board for a great suggestion for a baby-friendly restaurant.
My husband and I took our 4 month old daughter to Landmarc in Tribeca on Saturday
around 6pm. We had dined there a few times before but we were surprised that at that time, the restaurant was busy with almost all tables with kids or babies.
Of course the staff were very accommodating and nice, and we had a wonderful night out.

I highly recommend this restaurant for parents with small kids.
Thanks again.

Out of curiosity, is the TWC location as child-friendly?

The staff are very accomodating at the TWC location - lots of kids and babies around 5-6pm. About 3-4 strollers constantly parked outside the restaurant...mixed crowd though, lots of icy stares...we had a woman (a patron) come up to us and ask us to leave as she felt our baby was making too much noise. The manager came over and moved us to another table and made us feel most welcome!

Good to know, thanks. To be honest, I could care less about how the patrons feel about this, but it's always nice to have accommodating and understanding staff, so I think we'll give Landmarc a shot this weekend (we'll be dining around 5:30 p.m. anyway).

In addition the kids menu is terrific. The TWC location was the perfect place to celebrate my parents 52nd Anniversay which they wanted to spend with the 8 and 4 1/2 year old grandchildren
