Best Reasonably Priced Steak or Seafood in Santa Barbara
My wife an I are thinking of an overnight visit to Santa Barbara on a coast drive. I'm looking for a good, reasonably priced place for steak and prime rib, or a good seafood house in the $20-30 entree range. Shalhoob's comes up as a possibility on my initial search for meat. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

I also liked the Tee-Off for the surf & turf options but can also give 2 thumbs up for the Santa Barbara Shellfish Company http://www.sbfishhouse.com/shellfish/... if you are looking for someplace for lunch not dinner which is tasty and inexpensive.

I second the Tee-Off, have never had less than a stellar meal here. The strip mall location in no way shape or form lessens the drinks, the meat and the way you feel when done- you walk thru the door and volia- its 1964.
Shalhoobs is also a great choice- great drinks and meats here.
Your choice between the 2 could be location- Shalhoobs is downtown, while Tee-Off is uptown- though to be honest- they are probably 10-15 minutes away from another- probaly easier parking at Shalhoobs.
Another choice might include Holdrens on State, and Fishouse down on the shore (I love when people call the beach the "shore"!).
