New Bat Mitzvah Plans...........

ok. We were all set to have my daughters Bat Mitzvah at the Villa Barone in Mahopac. The more I think about spending upwards of 20K the more I think it's crazy. She is really not into it and seems like we were planning the party for ourselves to keep up with the Jones's.

Anyway- gave my daughter the choice of having the party or going on an awesome mother/daughter trip somewhere. She chose the trip.

I need to find a nice place for a luncheon for after the service. Any ideas? Northern Westchester or White Plains? Maybe 50-75 people.

Where's the temple? If it's convenient to Pleasantville or Briarcliff, you might want to check out Unique Affairs. We had a very good experience at the Pleasantville Country Club, which is not fancy and quite affordable, with surprisingly good food.
