Korean food near Berwyn?

Does anyone know of any authentic Korean restaurants near Berwyn?

  1. August Moon in Norristown is the closest Korean I think

    1. There's a BBQ place on Rte. 202 in Blue Bell (or that area). I can't remember the name, but it's packed with locals, the banchan is pretty fresh and flavorful, and the bulgogi has a great marinade. Not up to par with NYC's Koreatown, but it's pretty good for this area.

      1. There are at least 3 Korean restaurants in the Blue Bell area:

Korea Garden: route 202 north of Skippack Pike, has been there for a while, fairly small, serves traditional Korean food, sushi and bbq, we've eaten there several times, but have never tried the bbq or the more authentic dishes, overall the food is good, service can be a bit slow, not unfriendly but not friendly either

Gaya: on Skippack Pike east of 202, has only been open for a couple of months, menu scope similar to Korea Garden, fairly large dining room, friendly staff, ate there once and the short rib bbq was very good, we will be going back

"do not know the name": on Welsh Road (route 63) west of 202 in North Wales, in the Assi shopping center where the Cravings Cafe used to be, have not tried it yet

Based on our limited experience, I would recommend that you try Gaya first
