  1. I just used the 'Link to a place' feature on this post, and it turned up the two locations below.

Don't forget - this Thursday May 15th they're giving away free coffee drinks between 10am and 10pm for some reason.

    Dunkin' Donuts
    12200 Research Blvd # 100, Austin, TX

    Dunkin' Donuts
    11200 Research Blvd # 100, Austin, TX

    1. It's real. It's at 183 and Pavilion - 12200 Research Blvd, so says Google. It's not the nicest on the inside but the donuts and coffee are right on.

There was a story in the Statesman about a year ago promising a big Austin area expansion, but no news since.

I believe it's closed for renovations right now -- has been for three weeks or so. You can tell there's work going on, so they should be reopening soon.

Actually it had a fire. I live down the street and passed the fire trucks one afternoon about 3-4 weeks ago. Looks like construction is going quickly. Dunkin has the best vanilla creme filled donut covered in powdered sugar---yumm!!!

      2. Last year there was an article that said Dunkin Donuts plans to open at least 50 stores in Austin over the next decade. Soon you'll have iced coffee on every corner.

My Dunkin Donuts experiences in Aus, TX have been a disappointment. I am from New England, and grew up loving their coffee. Every cup I have had here has been burnt... Just my two cents...

I have to agree with the disappointing cofee. Though I'm not from New England, I did live in Boston for about 3yrs. Now they know how to do DD proud!

        2. I spoke to the employees a few months ago, and they told me there would be up to 60 D &D's in Austin by 2011.

          1. any time frame for the reopenin.
